WHY IS FG AFRAID OF TUFACE’S PROTEST?
Fellow Nigerians,
It is no longer a news that when any reasonable Nigerian registers his mind towards this APC led administration, that such will quickly be tagged a “state’s enemy”! But, I think it shouldn’t be like that because everyone have right to express his/her mind.
Few days ago, my dear friend and brother, Innocent Idibia (Tu Face) went online to pour out his heart as regards the state of the nation and his bold intention to lead Nigerians into a peaceful and matured protest in Lagos.
He further released about ten video clips on his Instagram page, and also released a press statement which states his reasons for such a constitutional support move! But, as it is part of the Presidency’s DNA to shun the citizenry down on a matter like this, quickly the Federal Government launched an attack against him. Asking him to come on live TV for debate (if you’re following, 2Baba had released video clips), yet they pretended as if they don’t have data to check his media pages.
Again, TuFace was accused of being sponsored by the PDP (which they don’t have evidence for).
Parts of the humble guy’s tears (in summary) includes lack of solution to the economic ressesion, insecurity, lack of good infrastructural materials, high cost of living, hike in kerosene and petroleum’s prices, evil activities of the Fulani Herdsmen, sentimentalism and several others.
To me, Mr. TuFace is right in his opinions. The truth remains that Nigeria is very sick and highly unbearable anymore. In fact, the present nation is worst than ever in our history. It must also be said that the activities of this government are questionable. For example, where are the money been recovered from the looters? Why’s Shiite leader still in detection?
The state of our nation is saddened and to protest won’t be a crime. You’ll remember vividly that some years ago in Freedom Park Ojota Lagos, a protest was staged by thousands of Nigerians and the purpose was to register their minds against Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
As the Students’ Union President of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education Otto/Ijanikin, Lagos (2010/2011), I led protest against the school management when the school fees ideas was revisited. I also did it against the Lagos State Government with the help of some Comrades in my school and Lagos State University all for students welfarism. There’s nothing wrong in protest. Why’s FGN afraid of it?
In a sane political entity, protest is welcomed. Some Americans protested against Donald Trump’s victory and heaven didn’t fall. So, why’s is our own Federal Government afraid of 2Baba’s protest?
If this APC led administration has performed well, there wouldn’t be any need for the protest, but reverse is the case. They have taken the nation to million miles backward. Nigeria supposed not to be at this point right now, but the current administration is blind to that fact.
Again, where’s Nigeria’s President? Who’s briefing us about his state of his health? Who’s briefing us about the state of the nation? It is as if this country is sold, and its waiting for the new buyers to commence work. The truth be told, Nigeria is not working ! She’s static ! And that’s evil !
These are Tu Face’s opinions from my own views, and these burdens I bears too. I support the call for the protest. We need it so very much. We need to give this government heat. We need to wake them up from their slumber. They were voted to represent, and they should do that well. But, they’re not doing just that. They only derives pleasures in creating problems for us through religious sentimentalism and ethnicity egoism !
This is my fear…
I don’t trust this APC led administration for anything. I have my reasons which includes the bold national lies and “crystal clear cunningness” they have being displaying for us. So shameful !
They may boycott this protest through the Nigerian Police Force. For example, a statement has been credited to Lagos State Command of NPF that “the Police will not allow the protest because of an intelligence reports that hoodlums want to hijack the protest…” The statement further reads that “2Baba does not have the capacity to control such crowd is gathering…”.
My views very simple and sincere…
If there are intelligence reports as regards the protest, what will cause the NPF to provide men of the force to guard the people?
The Police should show to us that they’re our friends. And that they’re not been politically motivated.
Lastly, for the professor mocking 2Baba because of his “weakness”, and Black Face that calls him illiterate… I think they should have their heads cover in shame. This is my reason, the professor should have use his acquired knowledge to help Nigerian educational system. And for Black Face, you’ll remember that this guy once sang a song titled “Hard Life”. In that song, he bitterly complained about the state of the nation. But Black Face could not bring to his memory that Nigeria of then was far better than this present one. So, what’s wrong with his comradeship spirit?
My salutations…
I must salute the gallant comrades that will fall in for this protest. The Nigerian Students (Lagos Zone) and “Enough is Enough”. I will equally appreciate Governor Fayose and the artists that are ready for this struggle.
Sincerely, it is time to make Nigeria work again.
It is high time we speak out and fight for our rights.
As for me
#iStandWithNigeria #iStandWith2Baba #WeWillProtest because #NigeriaDeservesBetter and that #EnoughIsEnough
I beseech you Nigerian Students to join this struggle.
God bless Nigeria.
