A LIFE OF POSITIVE IMPACT IN THE NEW YEAR

I have come to discover that in life, what is important is not the position you occupy nor the privileges you seem to have, but the positive impact you make.

Interestingly, the scope of this impact is not restricted in anyway: From the cup of cold water given to a thirsty soul, to that outstanding invention that can better the cause of humanity — the list is endless.

More interesting is the fact that: Irrespective of who you are, where you come from, the position you occupy, the privileges you seem to have, everyone has an equal opportunity of making a positive impact!

It was John F. Kennedy that said: “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”

Justin Rosenstein also added: “Life is short, youth is finite, and opportunities endless have you found the intersection of your passion and the potential for world-shaping positive impact?”

Hence, dear reader, while I welcome you powerfully to the 17th year in the 21st century, I humbly crave your indulgence to make this New Year a year of positive impact; for the Almighty, and for Humanity. Together, I believe we can make this world a better place.
